Is there a high school for kids with artistic gifts in the neighborhood? Like LaGuardia.

one of the new h.s. in the ol seward park building is called LOMA, which is short for lower manhattan arts academy somehow (or something like that). this is only it's second year, so i don't know how they're doing yet, but could be interesting.

(btw, seward park itself is no more, having been phased out and replaced by 5 new small schools: dual language mandarin/english; essex street academy, loma, new design, and one more i can't remember.)
