We're starting an apartment hunt, ideally for a 2BR rental for an early-summer '07 move and a two-year lease. We're very interested in coop village, but having trouble finding info.
How does subletting work in the various coop village communities? I'm particularly interested in Seward Park, but am curious about the other complexes, too.
Are sublets allowed by the coops? Are there limits on how long subletters can stay? Are 2BRs frequently available for sublet? Are there any bulletin boards (online or physical) where sublets are advertised directly by owners, or is it best to go through a broker?
Any info would be most appreciated.
